Clinical Psychology Lead
Dr. Max Slepian is a clinical health psychologist who specializes in helping individuals with acute and chronic pain cope and even thrive in the face of adversity. Dr. Slepian received his PhD in Clinical Psychology from Ohio University, and completed his pre-doctoral residency in Behavioral Medicine and Rehabilitation Psychology at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, WA. In addition to working as a clinical psychologist, Dr. Slepian conducts research examining biopsychosocial contributors to the experience of pain. More specifically, his work aims to improve understanding and find ways to enhance resilience in the face of pain.
