Dorothy Wong

Clinical Research Analyst

Dorothy Wong is a Clinical Research Analyst in the Anesthesia and Pain Management Department at the Toronto General Hospital. She holds a Masters Degree in Social Work Specializing in Health and Mental Health at the University of Toronto. Dorothy is an experienced researcher and has been involved in managing and coordinating various clinical trials studying patients with chronic illnesses over the years. Currently, she is the Project Lead in a clinical trial called The Ontario Transitional Pain and Opioid Safety Program: Improving Pain and Opioid Practices for Complex Chronic Pain Patients Following Surgery (RECOUP Study), as well as other studies related to chronic post-surgical pain. Her role supports the research life cycle to ensure project productivity and outcome success. Dorothy hopes to continue to build her experience in the future focusing on quality of health care, health care access, health policy, and knowledge translation.
